Gripe aviar: detectaron casos positivos en dos provincias más y refuerzan los controles en las fronteras
Personal del Senasa confirmó la presencia del virus en Salta y Santa Fe; se suman a las primeras detecciones en Jujuy y Córdoba. Aunque aún no se detectaron en granjas de pollos, aconsejaron a los productores que intensifiquen las medidas de bioseguridad.
El Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria (Senasa) confirmó un nuevo caso de influenza aviar (IA) H5 en gallinas y patos de traspatio hallados muertos en la localidad de Villa Cañás, provincia de Santa Fe. Los casos positivos de gripe aviar alcanzan en total a 4 provincias: Jujuy, Córdoba, Salta y Santa Fe. Además de aves migratorias, la enfermedad se identificó en patos, pavos y gallinas de traspatio.
De esta manera, a Jujuy y Córdoba, donde aparecieron las primeras aves silvestres muertas, se sumaron ahora Santa Fe y Salta con brotes en gallinas y patos domésticos. El foco de los controles preventivos se trasladó también a la provincia de Entre Ríos, en la frontera con Uruguay, país en el que también se halló presencia de la enfermedad.
Hasta el momento no fueron detectados brotes en granjas avícolas , donde se aplican medidas de bioseguridad e higiene más rigurosas. No obstante, el Gobierno Nacional declaró la emergencia sanitaria en todo el territorio del país.
La situación en Santa Fe
La detección santafesina fue confirmada este domingo en Villa Cañas, la localidad donde nació Mirtha Legrand, en el sudoeste de la provincia de Santa Fe. Fue tras un análisis efectuado por el Laboratorio Nacional del Senasa en muestras tomadas en gallinas y patos muertos, luego de la notificación de un vecino de la zona a la oficina local del Senasa.
El Senasa se encuentra trabajando en la región donde se realizó el hallazgo, al igual que en Jujuy, Salta, Córdoba y Entre Ríos, en la frontera con Uruguay, fortaleciendo los controles y las medidas preventivas.
Las autoridades sanitarias pidieron al sector productivo reforzar las medidas de manejo, higiene y bioseguridad de sus granjas avícolas y que le notifiquen inmediatamente toda detección de signos clínicos nerviosos, digestivos o respiratorios, disminución en la producción de huevos, en el consumo de agua o alimento y alta mortandad en aves domésticas o silvestres. Al tiempo que indicaron tomar todas las medidas de prevención y no manipular las aves cuando se detectan estos cuadros clínicos.0
